Job Description

Job Summary: The Head of Sales for Electronic Components will lead the sales operations in Thailand, driving revenue growth and expanding market share. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and building a high-performing sales team in line with the company’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Planning: 

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for electronic components to achieve revenue and profitability goals in Thailand.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Create and manage a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and tracking of sales performance.
2.Business Development & Account Management:

  • Identify and acquire new clients within the electronics, semiconductor, and components sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations and secure contracts with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), distributors, and key industry players.
  • Drive customer retention and satisfaction by providing tailored solutions and excellent service.
3. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture within the sales team.
4. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with marketing, product management, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts and overall business goals.
  • Provide input on product development and market requirements to ensure the company’s offerings meet customer needs.
5. Financial & Reporting: 

  • Prepare and manage the sales budget for the Thailand market.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with local regulations and company policies.
 

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sales and business development within the electronics, semiconductor, or components industry.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing sales teams, with a focus on B2B sales.
  • Experience working with OEMs, distributors, and key players in the electronics ecosystem in Thailand.
