Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to lead our logistics sales division. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the logistics industry, with a proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth. This role requires strong leadership, market knowledge, and excellent relationship-building skills to expand our client base and maintain lasting partnerships.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Proven experience leading sales teams, particularly at the headquarters level.
    • Capability to manage and mentor both seasoned and new team members effectively.
    • Demonstrated success in building and expanding sales teams.
  • Market and Industry Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of non-Japanese markets and customer bases.
    • Required experience in the logistics industry, particularly in contract logistics and transportation.
  • Cultural Adaptability and Networking:
    • High cultural awareness with the ability to work efficiently in diverse teams and markets.
    • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills to cultivate partnerships.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, teams, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience in logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of contract logistics, transportation, and supply chain solutions.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on driving business growth.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
