Job Description

Project Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

· Coordinates and oversees engineering projects within the assigned facility, ensuring effective planning, organization, control, and integration.

· Facilitates communication with the Business Unit team for seamless planning, troubleshooting, and execution of key initiatives.

· Manages personnel involved in Capital projects, including Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and external contractors.

· Oversees the Capex process and ensures successful project outcomes for the plant team.

· Drives process improvement, problem-solving, and project management efforts.

· Recommends manufacturing process enhancements to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

· Conducts research, design, and development of manufacturing processes, focusing on production flow, assembly methods, and equipment, while prioritizing sustainability and employee safety.

· Possesses deep knowledge of safety standards (internal, external, governmental)

· Expertly applies environmental standards in CAPEX projects and leads Climate Action/Environmental Management System initiatives across various levels.

· Prepares and presents project plans to stakeholders and coordinates their execution.

· Maintains and updates detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.

· Controls project expenditures within budget limits, handling forecasting and spending.

· Reviews product design for engineering compliance, sustainability, ergonomics, and company standards.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Civil, Engineering, or related fields. Master's Degree is preferred.

· 8-10 years of working experience in Engineering Project Management and execution experience required.

· Working experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company is preferred.

· Working knowledge of site processes in categories like dry mixes, soups/bases, flavor systems, sauces, and dressings (as relevant to the site), along with previous experience in building expansions for a food processing environment, is highly preferred.

· Sub-Contractor Management.
