Job Description
Manager, Business Support Services
Key Responsibilities:- Process Development:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of global tender processes and procedures to enhance success rates.
- Identify opportunities for optimizing global tender processes.
- Global Tender Support:
- Respond to specific RFQ requirements with timely, value-added solutions.
- Deliver tasks such as volume analysis, coordination of RFI responses, CO2 and sustainable fuel calculations, and customized support requests.
- Facilitate and own the Terms & Conditions Check (TACC) process to ensure compliance.
- Agent Tender Management:
- Manage tender pricing processes in accordance with global tender policies and coordinate agent country pricing responses.
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of global and regional tenders.
- Spot Quote Desk:
- Evaluate customer performance and propose adjustments to maximize hit rates and revenue.
- Work with internal teams to improve competitiveness and discuss outcomes with customers.
- Management Information and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate administration of tender support and spot quote activities.
- Utilize global applications to compile and report relevant information.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Steer, develop, and motivate the team in alignment with HR policies and company objectives.
- Manage performance appraisals, identify developmental opportunities, and ensure training programs are executed.
- Communicate strategy and business results to the team while fostering engagement and commitment.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
- Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience.
- Proficiency in Supply Chain Management (preferred).
- Strong expertise in MS Office.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
