Job Description
A finanncial service company is looking for a head of litigation.
Job Description:- Oversee the Group’s litigation and execution matters.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce NPLs and resolve related issues efficiently, aligning with the Group's objectives.
- Design, monitor, and update operational plans, processes, supporting systems, legal policies, guidelines, and manuals for litigation and execution under the Legal function, ensuring alignment with business strategies and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure timely implementation of strategies, processes, and directions, while effectively communicating these to team members and external litigation and execution partners.
- Supervise and evaluate external firms' performance, ensuring cost-effective operations and alignment with the Group’s best interests.
- Provide legal counsel and coordinate with relevant stakeholders within the Group.
- Lead, mentor, and guide team members to achieve goals efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Take swift legal actions to protect the Group’s rights, including intellectual property and reputation, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies and courts.
- Manage ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Liaise with government authorities and third parties as necessary.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law.
- Thai lawyer’s license (mandatory).
- At least 10 years of proven experience in litigation across various fields (criminal, civil, labor, etc.), including collection and execution.
- Strong connections and familiarity with law enforcement agencies (highly advantageous).
- In-depth knowledge and experience in fintech or banking industries (preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, service-minded attitude, and a strong ethical foundation.
- Quick learner with a proactive and business-oriented approach to legal problem-solving.
- Capable of handling pressure, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
- Competent in educating stakeholders on new legal requirements to support dynamic and evolving business needs.
- Proven experience in team supervision and exceptional people management skills.
- Fluent in English
